New dish Cloth Pattern!






Picot-Edged Grandma's Favorite


Size 7 Knitting Needles
Less than 1 ball worsted weight cotton yarn


K = Knit
KFB = Knit in front and back of same stitch
BO = Bind off
YO = Yarn Over
K2tog = Knit two stitches together
K2togtbl = Knit two stitches together through back loops
Sl1 = Slip 1 stitch
St = Stitch


Cast on 2

Increasing Rows:

1. BO 1, kfb
2. Sl1, kfb
3. Sl1, kfb, kfb
4. BO 1, k2, kfb
5. BO 1, kfb, kfb, k1
6. Sl1, knit 5
7. Sl1, k2, yo, k to last st, kfb
8. BO 1, k2, yo, kto last st, kfb
9. BO 1, k2, yo, k to end
10. Sl1, k2, yo, k to end
11. Sl1, k2, yo, k to last st, kfb

Repeat Rows 7 through 10 until size desired, ending with Row 8.


Turning Rows:

1. Sl1, k2, turn, sl1, k2, turn, sl1, k1, turn, sl1, kfb, turn, bo1, k2, turn, sl1, k2, turn, sl1, k1, k2togtbl, yo, k2togtbl, k to end

2. Sl1, k2, turn, sl1, k2, turn, sl1, k1, turn, sl1, kfb, turn, bo1, k2, turn, sl1, k2, turn, sl1, k1, k2togtbl, yo, k2togtbl, k to last st, kfb


Decreasing Rows:

1. BO1, k1, k2togtbl, yo, k2togtbl, k to last st, kfb
2. BO1, k1, k2togtbl, yo, k2togtbl, k to end
3. Sl1, k1, k2togtbl, yo, k2togtbl, k to end
4. Sl1, k1, k2togtbl, yo, k2togtbl, k to last st, kfb

Repeat Rows 1 through 4 until you have 7 st left on your needle.


Finishing:

1. BO1, k to last st, kfb
2. BO1, k2togtbl, k1, k2tog, k1
3. Sl1, k to end
4. Sl1, k2tog, kfb
5. BO1, k2tog
6. K2tog, pull yarn through loop, finish off.
