New Cloth Pattern!


Well, it's been a while since I last posted! My Bow went to join her cousin, Buttons on April 14. It was very hard for me to deal with, but she had conjestive heart failure and I had nothing to say about it. :( But, Cocoa has adjusted very well.


So! On to the new cloth! I call it Ribbing Around. Hope you like it!

RIBBING AROUND

Less than 1 ball worsted weight cotton
Size 6 – 16 inch circular needles
Size 6 single points

MIDDLE SECTION, increase half.
Cast on 1 stitch
Row 1: k, p, k in stitch
Row 2: sl 1, knit to end.
Row 3: inc, k1, inc.
Row 4: sl 1, knit to end.
Row 5: sl1, inc, knit to 2 stitches left on needle, inc, k1.
Row 6: sl 1, knit to end.
Repeat Row 5 and Row 6 until you have 25 stitches on your needle.

MIDDLE SECTION, decrease half
Row 1: sl1, k2togtbl, knit to 3 stitches left on needle, k2tog, k1.
Row 2: sl1, knit to end.
Repeat Row 1 and Row 2 until there are 5 stitches left on needle.
- Sl1, sl1, k2tog, psso, k1.
- Sl1, knit to end.
- K3tog. Do not fasten off.

OUTER SECTION
With circular needles, pick up and knit 12 stitches on each side of square (48 sts total) Place marker to mark beginning or row.

Round 1: *(k1, yo, k1) in next st, (p2, k2) 2x, p2, k1* repeat between ** 3 more times.
Round 2: *k1, (k1, yo, k1) in next st, k1, (p2, k2) 2x, p2, k1* repeat between ** 3 more times.
Round 3: *k2, (k1, yo, k1) in next st, k13* repeat between ** 3 more times.
Round 4: *k1, p2, (k1, yo, k1) in next st, p1, (k2, p2) 3x, k1* repeat between ** 3 more times.
Round 5: *k1, p2, k1, (k1, yo, k1) in next st, (p2, k2) 3x, p2, k1* repeat between ** 3 more times.
Round 6: *k5, (k1, yo, k1) in next st, k16* repeat between ** 3 more times.
Round 7: *k1, p2, k2, p1, (k1, yo, k1) in next st, (k2, p2) 4x, k1* repeat between ** 3 more times.
Round 8: *k1, p2, k2, p2, (k1, yo, k1) in next st, p1, (k2, p2) 4x, k1* repeat between ** 3 more times.
Round 9: *k8, (k1, yo, k1) in next st, k19* repeat between ** 3 more times.
Round 10: *k1, (p2, k2) 2x, (k1, yo, k1) in next st, k1, (p2, k2) 4 x, p2, k1* repeat between ** 3 more times.
Round 11: *k1, (p2, k2) 2x, p1, (k1, yo, k1) in next st, (k2, p2) 5 x, k1* repeat between ** 3 more times.
Round 12: *k11, (k1, yo, k1) in next st, k22* repeat between ** 3 more times.
Round 13: *k1, (p2, k2)2x, p2, k1, (k1, yo, k1) in next st, (p2, k2) 5x, p2, k1* repeat between ** 3 more times.
Round 14: *k1, (p2, k2) 3x, (k1, yo, k1) in next st, k1, (p2, k2) 5x, p2, k1* repeat between ** 3 more times.
Bind off in knit. Work in ends.

so sorry to hear about your puppies. I have a miniature schnauzer/yorkie mix that I rescued from the shelter. He is one of my greatest joys.

I love your patterns and will be checking in frequently to take a peek. Hope you can make some more!
