I just love it! I have several more in the queque to knit up. I used yarn from eBay store: The Spin Zone. And the pattern is from eBay store: Always Shopping For You (<a href="http://stores.ebay.com/Always-Shopping-For-You">http://stores.ebay.com/Always-Shopping-For-You</a>). I used size 19 circular needles and knit up to 44 stitches before the marker. If you get the pattern, you'll understand what I am saying. It is probably my favorite! The Spin Zone makes these wonderful blends of yarn which make this shawl just beautiful. It is just enough to chase the chill away, and perfect for a quick wrap over the head and around the neck when it's really cold outside. My next project is baby bibs. LOL I bought a pattern from Ravelry using short rows. I'll let you see how it comes out!<br /><div></div>BittyBowhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09861092537857713796noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-333759114279512192.post-87906843332115894892009-02-12T16:20:00.004-05:002009-02-13T10:18:32.399-05:00Peaches N Cream Premium<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEim8kt5u7rgVnLP37jiU-GVnKQYcUIN_vP4l8EziHEv8JyQ1AQaS3ycqsZQKFRTzMhCI9cQYKrE_IeVnEE792nVtTmaQi-JAEmX_57RkNUuvh5mMwh-_x5xgTq0_5o1GqCjvOtNTIDLQn7o/s1600-h/IMG_0360.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5302024230757349778" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEim8kt5u7rgVnLP37jiU-GVnKQYcUIN_vP4l8EziHEv8JyQ1AQaS3ycqsZQKFRTzMhCI9cQYKrE_IeVnEE792nVtTmaQi-JAEmX_57RkNUuvh5mMwh-_x5xgTq0_5o1GqCjvOtNTIDLQn7o/s400/IMG_0360.JPG" border="0" /></a> New colors from left to right: Dk. Of course, I have to say that I listed them in order of my personal preference! :) Purple is my favorite color!<br /><br />The pattern is the same one I used to make the baby blanket below, only I did it with the 19 stitches per the pattern and size 7 knitting needles.<br /><br />I definately recommend these premium colors! She blends her yarn to make the most fabulous textures. You can't really tell from this picture, but this blanket is so soft! I've bought quite a bit of yarn from her, including her shawl kits. I have never been disappointed. This yarn is her baby blanket kit. She has a different pattern which she includes with it. I've made a couple of those, but wanted to try something different, so here it it! It did take a little more yarn than what came in the kit, but I just got another one! I plan to make a neck warmer and scarf from the leftovers.</div><div> </div><div>So, now, I'm off to knit a BIGGER one! </div>BittyBowhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09861092537857713796noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-333759114279512192.post-25160404246860062082008-11-18T12:32:00.005-05:002008-11-18T12:37:26.495-05:00Handy Little Scarf<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMKdf2W34bNRjdEI3RcSrpopBvZe_jkHmPcOayTfxs4kaG7y6LJ6FQvPVrAeCqs9BwQdVkm3pErDRR23wveUvXwpBBzeoDnFkmPdUtIIJG7SBy9TdynjFBrvs-qJ2OudU3OoVYJw84Rw_3/s1600-h/Scarf+002.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5270052621959979362" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMKdf2W34bNRjdEI3RcSrpopBvZe_jkHmPcOayTfxs4kaG7y6LJ6FQvPVrAeCqs9BwQdVkm3pErDRR23wveUvXwpBBzeoDnFkmPdUtIIJG7SBy9TdynjFBrvs-qJ2OudU3OoVYJw84Rw_3/s320/Scarf+002.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div>Well, I had the happy privilage to test knit a scarf for Susan at KnitaLittle. They are gauged somewhere between a size 8 and 9 knitting needle, so picture dish cloths would be huge if you used these, but they are really fun to knit with and make a nice 'patterned' cloth. His website is <a href="http://www.ketlyo.com/">http://www.ketlyo.com/</a> and his ebay ID is treasuresfromthetree.</div><div></div><div><br /></div><div>These started out as hair sticks, and his wife mentioned that they would be fun to knit with, so he listed them as such on eBay, and, of course, I bought a pair! They are really fun to knit with! Any way, the pictures of the wooden ones and the aqua pearl ones are at the top of this post. They are really beautiful. The first picture is the wooden needles, and the second is a fluffy brioche I'm knitting on the aqua pearls. I couldn't tell you which set I liked better! The ends of each are large enough that my knitting does not fall off, and it takes a little getting used to sliding your work over the 'curls,' but once you do, the yarn slides great.</div><div></div><div>He is working on making them circular, which would be incredibly awesome. I can't wait!</div><div></div><div><br /></div><div></div><div><br /></div><div></div></div>BittyBowhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09861092537857713796noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-333759114279512192.post-50205923932226752792008-05-22T14:47:00.006-04:002009-01-15T13:23:31.886-05:00New dish Cloth Pattern!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvhk23dLDaGVj5n7dUfJCpwKQZsvGAU32VmJ2viLNixZnrBb6cTQ7hXCfNlwdMrowi0-WfTTFN0msM0KGE_bKxV6Y2_IVNWqLNYSeIzccCirs-Tul487tVXw_aaoW7fWruwtoyomCCh7ZA/s1600-h/Debbie+002.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5203281477258588258" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvhk23dLDaGVj5n7dUfJCpwKQZsvGAU32VmJ2viLNixZnrBb6cTQ7hXCfNlwdMrowi0-WfTTFN0msM0KGE_bKxV6Y2_IVNWqLNYSeIzccCirs-Tul487tVXw_aaoW7fWruwtoyomCCh7ZA/s320/Debbie+002.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div><br /><br /></div><div><strong></strong></div><div><br /><br /></div><div><strong>Picot-Edged Grandma's Favorite</strong></div><div><br /><a href="http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=af54b9bef801f3a191b20cc0d07ba4d2079b207032be0f2d">Link to pdf file</a></div><div><br /> </div><div></div><div><br /></div><div>Size 7 Knitting Needles</div><div>Less than 1 ball worsted weight cotton yarn</div><div></div><div><br /><br /></div><div>K = Knit</div><div>KFB = Knit in front and back of same stitch</div><div>BO = Bind off</div><div>YO = Yarn Over</div><div>K2tog = Knit two stitches together</div><div>K2togtbl = Knit two stitches together through back loops</div><div>Sl1 = Slip 1 stitch</div><div>St = Stitch</div><div><br /></div><div></div><div><br /></div><div>Cast on 2</div><div><br /></div><div><strong>Increasing Rows:</strong></div><div><br /></div><div>1. I hope to have a lot of fun with it and meet a lot of great people! First, I should introduce you to the joys in my life!</div><br /><div></div><br /><div>Below is my little Cocoa. See that evil gleam in her eye???? Trust me, she is full of mischief and life! This is when she was just a pup. Now, she is a little over a year old. But you would never know it! She is very, very vocal, talks to you all the time (probably a good thing that I don't understand doggie language!). She loves to play, run as fast as she can, and sit on my shoulder while I am trying to knit. With all that, I just love her to pieces and wouldn't trade her for any thing. </div><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZ2_0YVtsdqnUl3D1sdPfqNxMFQpGva3rBUbXP_wtDvCrHMRxifDrTDXq7NFJvCOAR1LU1tQVrVAJMdHJpyqNhjgoqrDMyK2SRViCI1-Fq64RVQoNhikAbZKtJznLUAjlbwuuB9B7O5cfR/s1600-h/cocoa6a.jpg"><span style="color:#000000;"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5153905353191808882" style="WIDTH: 196px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 220px" height="277" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZ2_0YVtsdqnUl3D1sdPfqNxMFQpGva3rBUbXP_wtDvCrHMRxifDrTDXq7NFJvCOAR1LU1tQVrVAJMdHJpyqNhjgoqrDMyK2SRViCI1-Fq64RVQoNhikAbZKtJznLUAjlbwuuB9B7O5cfR/s320/cocoa6a.jpg" width="217" border="0" /></span></a><span style="color:#000000;"> </span></div><br /><p><span style="color:#000000;"></span></p><br /><p><span style="color:#000000;">Next is Bow.
